General information & conditions

Snowandmotion AB is a company registered in Sweden. These conditions apply to purchases made by residents outside of Sweden. Some terms only affects citizens outside the European Union.

Conclusion of Contract

The contract is concluded when Snowandmotion has confirmed your order to the email address you have provided. By ordering from us you agree to these terms. 

Payment

Secure Payments 

When ordering from Snowandmotion you can choose to pay via credit card, invoice or instalments. Invoice or instalments is only available for resident of Scandinavia. Snowandmotion do not charge anything extra for any of the options.

Credit Card payments are made via our partners PayEx or PayPal. As a customer you can choose which of these secure alternative you want to use. All credit card payments are encrypted and secure whether you choose PayEx or PayPal. Both PayEx and PayPal are certified under the new stricter security requirement PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). 

This allows you to feel completely safe when you pay by credit card at Snowandmotion. 

If you chose to pay by invoice your invoice is sent with your goods (only available for resident of Scandinavia). Klarna is handling all of Snowandmotions invoices.  

Shipping 

You can choose from three different types of delivery. Self-retrival, Office delivery and Home delivery. 

Self-retrival
Snowandmotion delivers, through DB Schenker, the product to the DB Schenker- agent closest to the adress that you have stated above. When the goods are delivered you get a message saying where you can retrieve the package. This option is free if you place an order for a total of at least 200 EUR. 

For orders less then 200 EUR Snowandmotion charges:
Residents within European Union: 21,9 EUR
Resident outside European Union, including Norway: 29 EUR, excluding VAT

Office delivery
Snowandmotion delivers, through DB Schenker, the product to your workplace. In order for this option to work you have to make sure to enter your workplace address at checkout. Office delivery is only possible between 09.00-16.00. This option is free if you place an order for a total of at least 150 EUR. 

For orders less then 200 EUR Snowandmotion charges:
Residents within European Union: 21,9 EUR
Resident outside European Union, including Norway: 29 EUR, excluding VAT

Home delivery
Snowandmotion, through DB Schenker, delivers your goods to your door. Home delivery takes place between 18:00 to 10:00 p.m. on weekdays only. Snowandmotion always charges for this alternative.

Residents within European Union: 34,9 EUR
Resident outside European Union, including Norway: 39,9 EUR, excluding VAT

Delivery time

Normal delivery is 3-7 business days. 

Some products can be ordered even though we do not have those in stock. These products have a normal delivery time of three weeks. But Snowandmotion contacts you with an exact date of delivery. That an item is out off stock is clearly demonstrated by a text declaring “To order, if you place an order on this item we will contact you with an exact date of delivery.” As customer you always have the right to avoid a purchase of a product that is out of stock.

Damage during transportation

If the package and / or the contents are damaged when you receive it, you should report it immediately. If you retrieves and opened the package and then discover the damage please contact Snowandmotion immediately. Transport damage must be claimed to us within "reasonable time" from the defect was or should have been discovered. Complaints that occur within 2 months from time of purchase are always considered as within "reasonable time". 

VAT & Customs (only affecting residents outside the European Union, including Norway)
Customers residing outside the European Union may suffer from VAT and custom duties when goods cross the national customs. Snowandmotion is not liable for these charges. Snowandmotion pays customer fees but NOT custom duties and VAT. DB Schenker will charge the customer the cost imposed by the national custom. This cost must be paid in order for the customer to retrieve their goods. 


Unclaimed goods 

Snowandmotion charges the customer the actual return shipping cost for non-retrieved items. Including any VAT and custom duties.

Returns & exchanges 

All clients have the right to return or change their product. 

Returns 

If you would like to return your item and get a refund, you must notify Snowandmotion within 14 days from the date of delivery. Notification shall be made to info@snowandmotion.com. The goods must be sent back to Snowandmotion intact and in original packaging with the labels still on the product. The client may of course try the product. When Snowandmotion receives the goods and states that no damaged has been made they will, within 30 days, return the correct amount. 

The customer is responsible for return shipping cost and transportation risk. 

Changing a product

If you want to exchange your item you must notify Snowandmotion within 14 days from the date of delivery. Notification shall be made to info@snowandmotion.com, Please specify to what you want to change in the message. The goods must be sent back to Snowandmotion intact and in original packaging with the labels still on the product. The client may of course try the product and then put it back in its original packaging. 

The customer is responsible for return shipping cost and transportation risk.

Complaints 

You have the right to complain about a product that is faulty. Only original error is covered by the warranty. Normal wear and tear, for example, are not covered. Please contact Snowandmotion as soon as you discover the error. In case of an error Snowandmotion covers the return shipping cost. 

Errors in information

Snowandmotion reserves themselves for errors in the information and specifications for products within Snowandmotion’s product range. All pictures should be seen as illustrations and can’t be guaranteed to reproduce the product's exact appearance and characteristics. Snowandmotion also reserves the right to correct any errors in specifying the amount of inventory.

Privacy Policy

In connection with your order, you consent to us storing your data in our activities to complete and provide the service that you expect. All customers are entitled to view the information that we have registered. As a customer you can request correction or removal from our customer database. If so, contact our customer service. Snowandmotion will not sell or transfer any personal information to third party.

Dispute 

In the event of any disputes or claims Snowandmotion always follow general recommendations. These terms and conditions are to be construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden and in the event of any dispute or claim associated with these terms and conditions, that dispute or claim shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts. Any domestic rules in favor of the customer will however rule over the Swedish law.

Customer Service 

We are available by phone between 9:00 to 15:00 (Central European Time) Monday through Thursday. This is a Swedish number therefore keep in mind that calling from an other country might be extremely expensive. We respond to all e-mails within 48 h, why that might be a better way to communicate with us.
